She is daughter of Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke,she has a younger brother named Levon,other two sisters for her dad's second married and one half sister for her mother’s partEducation
She had problem to adapt in school because she suffers from dyslexia, but she finally enrolled at Saint Ann's School in Brooklyn, she also took summer studies at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London and in Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York. She attended the performing arts school Juilliard for one year
Music Career
In 2019 Maya began her musical career releasing her first two singles on August 16, 2019 called To Love a Boy and Stay Open, the “to love a boy” music video was released the same day mv link
The first single from her debut album Blush was called By Myself it was released on March 18, 2020, after that she released another three singles coverage (april 22), so long (may 20) and generous heart (august 19), she released her debut album blush on August 21, 2020.
On December 7, 2021, Maya released a new single called Blue Hippo. On January 19, 2022, Maya released a collab with CARM called song of trouble. On June 29, 2022, Maya released a song called Thérèse
Acting Career
In 2017 maya made her acting debut as Jo March in the BBC miniseries adaptation of Little Women.
The most prominent role of Maya is the one played in stranger things Robin Buckley, she participates in the third season of the series launched in 2019, that same summer she played Linda Kasabian in Quentin Tarantino's film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
